Although perhaps a bit dated now, this was a cult-favorite trend-setter at the time. Fighting crime never looked so fashionable since these pastel, sockless, half-shaven cops hit the streets. Season one on DVD is now out, and they're even working on a 2006 movie starring Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx.

While there are episodic storylines at times, the series follows an overall central plot dealing with the most evil of all entities, that's right -- lawyers, in their quest to bring about the end of the world.
